Shipping and Phytosanitary Inspection process:

When your order is received, The plants are collected from the growing area and moved to the shipping/receiving area to begin prep for shipment.  I try to get the plants prepped and out ASAP.  Depending on moisture levels from rain or irrigation I will wait until the foliage is completely dry from surface moisture.

What is a Phytosanitary Certificate?

A phytosanitary certificate is an inspection certificate issued by a competent governmental authority to show that a particular shipment has been treated and/or inspected to be free from harmful pests and disease.

NO SHIPPING TO THE FOLLOWING STATES:    Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska and Hawaii.

I am required to apply for a 'Phytosanitary inspection certificate' from the Massachusetts agriculture department.  The lead time to get a visual inspection before shipping is 7-10 business days.  Once inspected I will ship the plants ASAP and you should receive your plants in 2-4 days after a successful inspection.

I'm currently using UPS as my shipping carrier.

Packing procedures:

Plants are moved to a covered area to dry the foliage. The fabric pots are shrink wrapped so no soil is lost during shipping. The plants are placed in their shipping boxes and zipped tied securely in place so they do not move and get damaged in the event 'Ace Ventura' is your UPS guy....

My procedures have been very successful to this point and no damage has been sustained.  If your plants do suffer any damage during shipping please, please, please, take as many pictures as you can and email me ASAP, so we can work on a resolution.

Thank you,

AJ
